Apprenticeship/Workforce Development

Swiss Business Hub USA believes that Switzerland’s dual education system (apprenticeship) offers a viable solution for the skills-shortage crisis that threatens US high tech manufacturing. We have created a platform to share information for mutual benefit. US manufacturers need more attention brought to the issue, and we are pleased to contribute as well as to showcase Switzerland as a global, knowledge-based country full of talent, high-tech opportunities and creativity.

The program’s main sponsor is ThinkSwiss, an initiative of the Swiss government under the auspices of Presence Switzerland (PRS), the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research (SER) and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA). More information at www.thinkswiss.org.
